| Heather Raue Director of Dance For 29 years, Ms. Raue has dedicated her life to ballet. Her dancing took her to The Dallas Metropolitan Ballet, Booker T. Washington HSPVA, City Ballet of Houston, Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, Hartford Ballet, and Texas Christian University. Ms. Raue founded the Dance Department over 8 years ago and presently directs the program as well as instructs ballet at the Crooked Tree Arts Center, Vivace School of Music and Arts, and Harbor Springs Community Schools. In 2010, she received the Dance Teacher Award in New York City, presented by Dance Teacher Magazine. In six years Ms. Raue’s pre-professional students have attended 40 of the finest summer and year-round programs in the country, pursue dance in the University setting, as well as to dance professionally. Ms. Raue has directed and choreographed over 25 full-length productions. |
