| Stephanie Overton Modern Dance Stephanie Overton received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from the University of Michigan’s Department of Dance, a nationally accredited school of dance. She is highly influenced by the style of Souleymane Badolo of Kongo Ba Teria, a dance company based in Burkina Faso, and has performed professionally with Ann Arbor Dance Works, Alexandance, and the Peter Sparling Dance Company. Her class draws on West African contemporary influences, as well as her grounding in post-modern technique, Graham- based modern, and improvisation. |
